Description
Collaborating with illustrator Li Chi-tak, photographer Ringo Tang, new media design group XCEPT and print-making workshop MarblePrintClay, Tommy Li created this sizable print art installation New 9 Sins specially for the “Projects‧Objects‧Play” P.O.P. Design Show in 2018. He specially invited his friends from various fields to be subjects of the photos, presenting the nine elements “gluttony”, “greed”, “sloth”, “anger”, “envy”, “temperament”, “lying”, “murder” and “amorousness” with random illustrations. The pictures are played up with traditional woodcut printing and modern technology. Audience can download a customised app to view the AR (Augmented Reality) effects and feel the immersive and illusionistic impact of the work.
